What to get your favorite cyclist so he doesn’t die of hypothermia

So I thought hey I have been stressed out from work, with no real end in sight and haven’t been able to get a good long run in at the gym so I thought I would get up today and put in a solid 3 hour bike ride. wrong. I was up and dressed by 6 am and walked out the door. It felt a hair brisk but i figured I needed to warm up a little. wrong. I rode for about 20 min through the neighborhood spinning as fast as i could to keep my speed down to reduce convection cooling and heat up my legs. fail. It is officially too cold to ride in my current clothing situation.

So here are some things i need so I don’t die. Some winter jerseys, Knee warmers, full gloves, one of those spiffy wind vests and shoe covers+big socks. (BTW isn’t that an awesome way to justify some wants as needs) Seriously as much effort and expense that I put into riding my bike-it’s a total luxury.. or is it. Ok back to the shower to continue thawing.
