I found this guy on a rainy day out feature hunting. Not typically a fan of the concrete statuaries-like the anatomically correct Potwin lion. But I’d much prefer this concrete squirrel over a scurry of squirrels. Yes a scurry. Apparently its the collective noun for these critters. I heard a story on NPR about a collection of these phrases, and I really like this one as it seams beautifully accurate.

This weird little scene is rather indicative of what I both love and hate about my job. Strange little moments, but not actually photojournalism.
