I’ve been listening to the same album over and over
On Green Dolphin Street by Miles Davis & John Coltrane
There are only five tracks on the disc, including two versions of both “So What” and the title track.
I love it-and it really reminds me of high school and that time where my life was music and I played and listened to jazz for hours.
There are so many parts of this album that I love and its not just the solos. I really get into the themes. I think that’s why I really like Coltrane and Davis-even in a super complex modal solo they leave a cookie crumb trail to the melody.
Oh how our lives change but deep down we stay the same.
rock climbing
crazy day- climbing rocks and all, i wonder when the truckers will realize that you can’t take this curve at speed in the rain. Without fail whenever it rains some incident occurs-though usually not as big as this one 5 trucks and 4 cars

Well I made it back to Kansas
I’m actually sitting at the airport waiting to board my flight back to the South. We all made it back safely and mostly soundly.
One little mishap on the ski slopes for dad.
I am thinking that everyone at work telling me not to get hurt may have jinxed Dad.
Good luck on the MRI today Dad.
