Gadsden Police officers restrain Vincent Looney shortly after he arrived at the scene of the fatal shooting of his 22 year old daughter Keawana Buchanan. She was shot Monday afternoon February 4, 2008 at the College Manor Apartment Complex in Gadsden, Ala.
I realize that there a quite a few lurkers out there on this blog and that it gets picked up by search engines-and I would prefer to not be dooced.
Lets just say that I am frustrated that we only ran the wide photo with the police car and crime scene tape and not the emotional powerful photo. It frustrates me that I try to go out and make compelling photographs in difficult situations and then we can’t spare the newsprint to print them.

I overheard how to make a white chocolate cheese ball.
Ahh the South and their love affair with heavily processed cheese food. I must say however at the Super Bowl party last night I had a cheese ball/log that Rocked the Casbah with a spiciness and tastiness that I haven’t encountered before.
