I had some kicking light down on the plains of Auburn.

Sign me up for 2 PM kicks all the time.

While I hate it that these people had a house fire- i like this photo. maybe I am getting my photo mojo going again

“those nice bright colors”

I ran into this story today while checking the interwebs. It kinda bums me out, I know Kodachrome was going away- and I know its a low volume film stock, but I get a pang of nostalgia when I run across a slide that has “the look.” I am so glad they quoted Alex Webb in the lead- if Iooss is the Velvia guy then Webb is the Kodachrome guy.

I was talking to LBC yesterday about her trying to get some negatives printed from BW film she shot of Ben at the 1hr photo and they just didn’t look like a real film to paper print- and she was rather frustrated. This makes me feel the same way.

I may have to take a long lunch break and pop one of my last few rolls of K64 into the Leica and go for a walk.
